Vesperio ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Vesperio mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Usage Data: App interactions, screens viewed, sounds played, session duration, and feature usage — collected via Firebase Analytics.
Crash Reports: Diagnostic data when the app crashes — collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs.
Purchase Information: Subscription status and transaction history — managed by RevenueCat. We do not store your payment details.
Advertising Identifier (IDFA): Only collected with your explicit consent via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, used to serve personalized ads through Google AdMob.
Device Information: Device model, OS version, and language settings — used to optimize the app experience.

All sleep sessions, sound preferences, and alarm settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Vesperio app experience.
To diagnose and fix crashes and bugs.
To manage your subscription and restore purchases.
To display ads (non-personalized by default; personalized only with your ATT consent).
To analyze feature usage and improve the app.

3. Third-Party Services

Vesperio uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

4. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS 14.5 and later, we request your permission before tracking your activity across apps and websites. You may allow or deny this request. If denied, ads will be shown without personalization. You can change this setting at any time in your iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Vesperio.

5. Data Retention

Analytics and crash data are retained according to the retention policies of Firebase (up to 14 months). Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat for as long as your account is active. Local device data (preferences, sleep sessions) remains on your device until you uninstall the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Vesperio is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at martin.drsm@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. GDPR (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation including the right to access, rectify, port, and erase your data. Our legal basis for processing analytics data is our legitimate interest in improving the app. Advertising is processed based on your consent (via the ATT or GDPR consent prompt).

9. CCPA (California Users)

California residents may opt out of the "sale" of personal information. Vesperio does not sell personal information. For advertising purposes, you may opt out of personalized ads by declining the ATT prompt or by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" in your device settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
